Edit: Pretty sure you're referring to Harem Hotel by "HH" in another of your comments on this thread, which is why I excluded it; Otherwise I would have felt the need to leave you my top 3, because there's no way I could cut any of those from the list and not feel bad about it lol. They're all fantastic games in their own right ^_^

Can't afford to pledge but did buy on steam; I can't say enough good things about this game. Truly excellent on so many fronts, and the voice actress(s) and writer(s) for Sabetha & Inej deserve special praise for their role! This is an instant classic as far as I'm concerned, and I look forward to (hopefully) more games from 4MinuteWarning in the future!

Btw I did not expect to have to parent. That appears to have prompted me to get attached to the characters. Maybe I'm just weird, but I think that was *really* smart.

My sympathies. To my knowledge though, saves are local - I don't see how someone external could have wiped the data. Please correct me if I'm wrong because I would hate to run into this myself.

Maybe consider backing up your save file in the future to avoid anything like this? I've yet to play Hero's Guild but I know that many indie devs, especially in early pre-release versions make changes which for some reason render old saves incompatible (I'm not a dev, I don't know what type of change would necessitate that) and sometimes choose to delete the current saved game upon installation of a new version which requires it.

Again, doesn't sound like that's what happened here, but just an anecdote as to why it's always a good idea to back up your saves.

I thought I had replied earlier but apparently my click on the "post" button never registered so I came back to it still sitting in the text box -_-

Anyhow, I'm just reporting back to confirm that the mod is indeed working as intended, I just had to adjust the values to give me portraits that were more consistent with the in-game description! It can also be tricky depending on the specifics of the slave seeing how they're first filtered by 3 different age ranges, the amount of combinations just on the 4 included parameters makes it easy to just not have a matching portrait. I have 4000 images and some of my folders literally have only a single portrait. Makes sense though, I reckon finding appropriate art for certain age groups of certain creatures (like orcs) could be pretty hard ^_^.

New to Strive, just started playing a few days ago and absolutely love it! The only issue I've come across so far is with the IRP mod & accompanying portrait pack from AK Phantom at https://itch.io/t/239558/body-and-portrait-packs-v29updated-2805

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but from what I've read it seems like the portraits / body images should be auto-selected based on the physical criteria of a given slave (hair color, breast size, etc). It definitely assigns a portrait and matching body when I get a new slave, but it appears to be selected completely randomly within the right race / age group. For example I'll get an adult human, but none of the other relevant details are accounted for.

Any insight on if my understanding is correct & if so any insight on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

I've just made a separate post about this which you can also refer to, however I can't stress enough how great it would be to have a more convenient way to close the journals, like hitting esc or clicking outside the journal area or something. I'm on a laptop in a fairly cramped area using a trackpack and constantly navigating to the arrows on-screen to essentially "switch pages" in order to close the journal is really tedious and obnoxious due to my setup - I'm sure I'm not the only one in this situation.

Hi, I enjoy this game but I play on a laptop and I'm stuck using a trackpad. Navigating to each girl's journal is fine but having to switch pages again to actually close it is really annoying. I realize it's likely because I have a shitty setup but I know I'm not the only one using a laptop in a suboptimal environment.

It would be amazing if we could just hit escape, or click outside the journal, or have literally any easily accessible hotkey to close the damn thing. Since everything is done through those journals, it results in a very significant amount of overhead when trying to move the game forward, and at least for me considerably reduces my enjoyment of the game.

I really hope this is something you'll be willing and able to address sooner rather than later,, because I look forward to discovering more cool and  interesting stuff!
